Trapped in a bubble
Inhibited from exploring the world
Forbidden to take a whif of
Sweet lavender absorbing sunlight

Cloak is to remain hooded
Gauntlet is to never be thrown
Sword must stay in sheath
I hold my shield up high at all times

When conquering armies invade,
Duck and take shelter in the chariot
In the cellar, I take refuge
When fire breathing dragons sweltering heat attacks the kingdom

Memento mori changes the world
King and queen now gone
Skeletons are all that remain
It’s time to get on the stallion

I sweat profusely,
I am breaking the bubble
Must learn how to survive
Donning armor is the first step to battle the dragon
